  Celebration is a musical journey through 10 years of annual concerts in Barrydale, South Africa. This is put on by an amazing local N.P.O called Net vir Pret (Just for Fun) and the University of the Western
  Cape. The play and the original music are written and performed by the children and the interns. This takes the form of a giant puppet show and explores the themes of who we are and our relationship with animals and the environment. The puppets and the shows were originally mentored by the Handspring Puppet Company, famous for their production of the gigantic horse in the "War Horse" play in London.
  The event takes place on the 16th of December(the day of Reconciliation in South Africa) every year and is an attempt to bring people together from widely differing communities in this remote rural area.
  Participants learn a variety of new skills, including, drama, puppet making and music production.
  The music was mostly recorded in a small music room at the Project with a couple of mics. Gari Crawford, the music teacher, recorded and produced the final album.
